Experiential Education

Elementary Outreach

The goal of the Williams Elementary Outreach Program is to enhance hands-on science learning in the classrooms of the local elementary schools.  The program allows for Williams students to work closely with classroom teachers to run science lessons on a consistent weekly basis at Williamstown Elementary, Greylock Elementary, and Brayton Elementary.  The program also provides funding for science supplies and field trips for these elementary schools.

Williams College’s Elementary Outreach program is part of the department of Experiential Education under Paula Consolini.  Experiential Education aims to help students deepen their academic learning through experiences outside of the classroom.
